All Saints Camp Packing List

Camp Packing Tips

Pack light, pack smart!

What is the weather like at camp?

At camp, the property is located right on the water and the weather can change pretty quickly. Be sure to pack layers and be prepared for cool mornings, hot afternoons, and cool evenings with the potential for rain throughout. Mid-July temperatures on Raft Island typically range from 50 - 75 degrees. Mosquitos like to join us for campfire, so long pants and sweatshirts are best for evenings.

What type of clothing should I bring?

Clothes packed for camp should be worn for comfort. Campers attend chapel twice a day and Liturgy on Friday, so pack with Christian modesty in mind. Only bring items you don't mind getting dirty, we're at camp after all!

General Camp Packing Tips

  • Label all of your camper's belongings with their name with classic iron-on/stick on clothing labels, dishwasher safe vinyl labels, or laundry pens/permanent marker
  • Break in all shoes before coming to camp to avoid blisters forming
  • Plan ahead to live out of a suitcase/duffel bag. Consider using packing cubes to keep items organized and easy to access. Having your camper help pack themselves is encouraged, so they know where to find specific items!
